Views of the world
You look at at the world,
as if every thing about it,
displeases you,
Which it probably does.
You wonder why
I stay away from you,
Locked up in my pleasant fortress,
Of solitude.
I am an extrovert,
You make me an introvert.
Because I don't want your negativity,
Anywhere near me.
I look at the world,
As if everything about it,
Can please me.
Which it generally does.
I wonder why,
You care so much for me,
but you care so little as it to show,
Any affection.
You are pessimist,
I become more of an optimist.
Because I try cancelling out your negativity,
Anyway I possibly can.
I am just like you in many ways,
You are just like me.
But you are generally,
What I never want to be.
You are wonderful in many ways,
But so little.
It feels like a dream.
Because you are so brittle.
