A Nightmare's Reality
The black hand of the depths conceals itself
it is unbiased in its choosing all come to itself.
The darkness moves swiftly, never timidly
for its power is eternal, guaranteed by itself.
Succumbing is inevitable to its lull
there is no justice, only darkness itself.
It’s hands steal threads from time’s tapestry
the judge, jury and executioner are itself.
Forever is its wrath, yet it is not felt
until it is too late, it is death itself.
