The Singer
For what I am
I am silent
Blasting my ears off to a rhythm unkown by others
For what I am
I am shy
Only thing that speaks is the song inside my head
A tune not heard by others
A song so loud that only I can hear as the notes bleed out my ears
The guitar rifts and thumping of drum beats
The fast paced fingers of a tired bassist
And lastly, the strained screaming voice of a singer as his thoughts of the world is drained into the microphone
That is me
Though, I am an unconfident child
I am the song waiting to explode from the headphones to the speakers
For who I am
For what I stand for
I am the singer
And noting in the world can stop my voice
