Paranoia
It seeps into thoughts
Showing not truth,
But fears you believe
Clogging your ears with lying maggots
And with demons that corner you
Disguising their grotesque selves as angels
They know you’ll trust their forked, evil tongues
They know your naïve self will believe them
Their true selves hidden behind a mask of purity
They will drown you
In lies, fears,
And regret
And you’ll be unable to crawl out
