There is Nothing Like . . .
There is nothing like being apart, separate.
Always wanting to be whole, like the
rest, but always missing something.
Nothing like losing
to a friend.
Watching as the person you once beat
kicks the dust up
ahead of you.
Nothing like falling,
feeling completely helpless
to control how your life is.
And there is nothing like action:
running, jumping, moving, trying, producing.
Making
something that is worth while,
something another can look at
and say: “Yes, that was worth
the cost.”
There is nothing like success, when
you
make up your mind, one decision, any result.
