Disappointment is Sapphire
It sounds like the booing of the crowd,
after losing a game with no second chances.
It tastes like bitter chocolate.
Something that looks sweet can end up
being something to dread.
It smells like burnt food.
Thinking what could have been great turns out to be the
complete opposite of what was expected.
Disappointment feels like you have become a failure,
and no one is there to tell you otherwise.
