Addicted:
his strong, warm arms around me
his soft cotton, heart beating against my cheek
his velvet palms, strong fingertips around my hands
his long, dark hair falls near his eyes as he pushes it aside
his subtle head nods as he talks, listens
his pink mouth moving silently because he doesn't sing
his canine teeth showing as his lips move up to laugh
his bracelet, which I made him, he pushes up his arm
his cheekbones and gaze higher than anyone's
text him to text me,
his thick and complicated mind,
tell me he loves me, too.
The way he looks at his girlfriend:
"she's crazy beautiful."
The way he suddently becomes smooth:
"yeah, there was some tongue."
the fear in his eyes with his hands in his pockets,
the easy confidence as he laughs, surrounded.
I am so grateful
for my older brother.
I'm so glad to have
such a cool friend.
