Average Is Underrated
There I was.
Driving down a road I had driven down a million times,
Listening to a song I had heard a million times,
When I notice something I had seen a million times.
But now, I get extremely envious of this thing.
It was a neighborhood.
A neighborhood with houses decorated for the season or an extra car parked in the driveway.
Just an average neighborhood.
But I had such a strong feeling of hate toward it.
They don't know how lucky they are.
To have an average house,
In an average neighborhood,
With an average married couple for parents,
And an average bedroom they don't have to share with anyone.
