When the Storm Ends
In my dreams, I am a storm.
I toss my winds around like shattered toys.
I rage, stomping, destroying and
breaking anything in my path.
The crashing forces pull me,
drag me all at the same time.
Holding on to my step,
trying to control my place,
relentless lightning strikes next to me.
Here, I am left golden, in the silver forked sky.
Now, I am nothing but a rainbow.
