Hour Love
His broken, beaten, beautiful eyes,
Made my life a better place,
Made be a better being.
It kills me that I've made him cry,
He is no longer in my life.
A true best-friend, a partner in crime.
He was everything to me, except mine.
Without him
Seconds seem like minutes,
Minutes turn to hours,
But it doens'nt even matter.
He's been gone for days,
Months, years, a lifetime.
Emptiness, where my heart used to beat.
Just like him I wish to be,
Happy, lovely, broken and beautiful.
Painted ceilings now hang meaningless,
knowing the most radiant colors reside in his eyes.
Kind, free, reckless and lovable.
Just like him I wish to be,
Him I wish to have.
