The Sunrise
Have you ever noticed how clouded your vision can become due to your thoughts?
I can't even see the beauty of the sunrise because all I can see are my persistent thoughts
The thoughts forcing my eyes closed as I don't want him to know I'm tearing up.
"What if I can't act differently? What if I don't know how? Will he leave me?"
Then he kisses my cheek and my nose and my forehead and I realize
It will be okay. I can do this.
The sunrise is really pretty this morning
