Sophomore girl.
Pink dress.
Innocence.
Senior boy.
Black button up.
Cute smile.
He pulls her close,
Her heart thrumming,
Catching her breath.
She feels his warmth,
All down her back,
A soft, steady pressure.
She feels his hands,
Rough under hers,
Resting on her stomach.
The crowd, they stare.
Her? No.
Him? Why?
They dance through the crowd.
Brought together by the music around them.
For one night, her only chance to take the risk.
