I hide in darkness
Keep my fears locked away
As I sigh and ache this pain
For another day
I am a broken angel
A lonely angel
I am the angel you find
Without her wings
The one that hides from the light
Of the day
A severely broken angel
Just trying to conceal her pain
From the other damaged angels
From those who took her happiness away
