Gloom and pain
Sadness and rain
Summer joy
Fireworks deploy
Daddy's gone
Uncle too
Fighting for the country
In the ocean blue
Writing words of meaning
Yet still seeming
Simple and dull
They're stuck in my skull
Words of color
Words that make you turn to your brother
Words that make you smile
That will carry you for miles
The dirt road that leads to somwhere
It will take you to a world that's
fair...someday.
