The Earth Stood Still
November 23, 2014
The earth had bemoaned her greatness,
She was useless in the dirt,
Not a speck of crust suitable for her needs,
She willed away her life,
She turned to cracks and narrow ledges,
Where not a soul could live in,
For she was unsatisfied,
And not a leaf or root grew,
In this barren,
Lifeless,
Empty place.
