Nightmares
Plagued by nightmares, gruesome and filthy,
Sometimes to never awaken.
She slipped into a world ever so swiftly.
Poor girl, no one saw she was taken.
Her world was brought with a layer of foulness,
breathed in and taken deep,
giving her a feeling of safe and soundness.
But what you sow is what you reap,
and sure enough her pain was gone.
But the foulness rolled itself into something sinister,
and slowly she became more withdrawn.
It became an addiction,
the most dangerest of all.
She began to cause herself great affliction,
To the point where she began to fall,
Far down to the point where she couldn't return.
And the girl who had nightmares while she was asleep and awake,
left this miserable world with dust in her wake.
