When You Can't Sleep At Night
When you can’t sleep at night
Dripping contour on the banks of your side of the bed
Whistling whispers of your death
(Coming down from the rafters)
You have your father’s eyes
And your daughter’s despise
(I see you for what you really are)
I used to think
But I cannot dream
For sleep is for the weak
And I haven’t in weeks
(Insomniac at best)
