Many Lies

Avoiding thoughts and feelings
laying in bed staring at ceilings
we ask why we are sad
why our lives have to be this bad
yet who would we be without our pain
those tears that we shed help sculpt our name
because every tear that falls
makes me stronger to face it all
Strong against lies heard
but then again our eyes are blurred
Because suddenly what we thought meant most
Everything we craved to hold close
lied
