A Withering Rose
Who are we, we dwellers?
Other than lonesome souls,
that have taken refuge in dark caverns
Other than wild men,
that stared into the withering rose for too long
Other than the the best friend,
and the worst enemy of our minds
Other than the children of the abyss,
who have forgot the place of they're haven
Other than the twillights preachers,
and the disciples of nostalgia
Other than men,
with nothing left but gratitude
