Smile
Just one smile
Lit up the room
The sun was going down
I was looking at you
A million little stars
Lit up the sky
The wind was in my hair
I can still feel it tonight
Dark cloudy skies
Disappeared in the blink of an eye
Judgmental eyes
Just don't seem to stop and they criticize
Just for a while
We pretended nothing was wrong
The sun had gone down
I said just hold on
Ghosts were lurking in the dark
But I said look at the sky
The stars were slowly burning up
There was something special that night
City lights
Outshining every single star in the sky
Busy lives
You said we're falling out and nobody seems to live in present time
Just one smile
Lit up the place
I said the sun always comes up
Don't you ever lose faith
And you couldn't hide your tears
The stars were shining so bright
The wind was in my hair
I still can feel it tonight
Hopelessness
That was surrounding us, I told you try to push it aside
Nevertheless
I'll always help you find a reason to smile
