as spring approaches, i can feel these stitches ripping apart
exposing memories i trapped under the surface
and causing ink to drip from my fingertips
believe me, i’m trying to hold it together
i have told myself a million lies about me not missing you
but it’s hard to pretend everything’s fine
when all i can think about before i fall asleep
is how nice it would be if the last thing that went through your mind was me
instead of a bullet
