Nature Gift
I sat under the shade of a fading oak tree
i watched the leaves waft from
left to right at the bottom of the shrub,
they danced to the whistle of the wind.
I sat still watching the birds take flight from bottom to top
they rushed in affort to find their nest,
their wings shoke from the roughness of the wind
lould squeak and squeal escaped their beaks.
I tilted my head toward the depressed sky
my eyes spread wide apart
trying to make a contact with the sun
which surely was hidden behind the frown of the cloud
and then i brought my head back down to the dancing
leaves, thats when a spate sliped from the sky
and dipped into the depth of my bare colar bone
soaking my skin with the joy of hydration.
Nature poured down her gifts,
drop by drop, calmily, I asborbed it all
the cloud cried tears of joy,
the leaves sat still to admire the beauty of it all
as the birds sang in harmony praising
Natures's gift to earth.
