Earth/Humanity
When you're a child
the world is a wonder.
A wonder that is untouchable,
understorible
and is an almost sacred like place.
When you're a teenager
the world is a beacon of dreams.
A beacon that makes you want to embrace,
discover
and is an almost sacred like place.
When you're an adult
the world is a trap.
It played a trick and you fell for it just like a child would.
A trap that is confusing,
stressful
and yet
the world still
is an almost sacred like place.

This poem shows how as a child our view on the world changes as we age. Our view as a child becomes almost tainted because of pain and sadness we have to continue through as we grow.
