The Prisoner
You are the very essence of my existence,
Without you I cannot be.
I am like a prisoner,
Whom with you here,
Cannot be set free.
This is not a punishment,
But it is a reality.
I am like a prisoner,
And my handcuffs are thee.
My mind is a cell,
And my mind is made up of you.
With that said,
Is there anything left for me to do?
But to live for my existence,
And try to be true?
My existence is you, you and only you.
