My Friend Birthday Gift
The tears came not from the sadness of my own taking but towards my mother and her heart felt act of kindness unappreciated, or not stated so, by me. The loathing came not from my own demise but of the force mentally pushed apon me by my own father who over the years I have become emotional detached from. Born from this, is the absolute protection of my mother and the absolute loathing of my father growling at his every move toward her, good or bad. These droplets of water also came from the disappointment of my own making, of how my untimely brain had yet to thank her for all she'd done.
