Friend, someone who comes over to your house to cook chicken and season it in sage?
Friend, someone who sees you mocking a little girl and tells you to stay away?
Friend, someone who cheers you up even in your darkest days?

I was upset because I did not have any real friends, and I did not know what to look for in a person to determine the quality of them. I have always wanted a true friend, but now I know why I do not have one: because everyone has been used up by fake people. Friend is an overused word.
