Why Wait?
Upon this moving rock, we wait.
For lives and deaths claimed, we wait.
Living for something not of your cause, we wait.
Fighting for others who use you, we wait.
Those corrupt beings taint every inch, we wait.
The living strives for gratification, we wait.
One side is losing and nothing can be done, can we wait?
All of this is almost over and we can go to our loved ones, can we wait?
When the bells toll and we all go visit graves, can we wait?
We give thanks to your bodies not above ground, can we wait?
Going our separate ways once the custom is done, can we wait?
Running to overtake that which was yours, can we wait?
Inside our homes, alone with no one left, why did we wait?
This unpractical patience is causing everything to suffer, why did we wait?
