You never understood
As she walked into her room, pain instantly stroke
All she wanted to see was her, sitting in front of that mirror .. singing, to herself
But that .. was impossible
Her makeup was no longer applied
Her perfume was no longer sprayed
Her clothes were no longer worn
And her shoes laces, no longer untied
But
Her bed was neatly done
Her shoes all neatly placed
And her clothes, in neat rows
Now she some what understands
What hell she went through
Alone
How he made her feel
Instead she would make it worse and call out
“You animal, you never listen.”
All for what?
That never helped all of the pain and twisted nightmares repeating in her head
And now
She’s dead
Now she aches, because she can no longer hide
The reason her daughter committed suicide
