High up on the hill, hiding.

Hunger strikes again.
My eyes scan the ground,
my next victim--spotted.
Slinking down the hill,
silence fills the forest.

Grazing through the grass,
glancing around me,
danger, spotted.
Dashing away from fate,
sprinting through the trees,
silently, he trails.

Stalking after my prey,
slowly, I reach him.
I see fear .
Instantly, his life ends.
High up on the hill, hiding,
hunger is silenced again.
