stinky sheets
my bed covers stink
they smell like an old man
who just passed away in the back
of a garbage truck
my bed sheets
make me sneeze
from all the dust
that drowns them
my pillow no longer
supports my neck
that when I lay down
my head just hits the mattress
its all your fault
that my bed no longer smells like
expensive cologne
and minty coffee breath
the days we laid face to face
with our hands intertwined
were the days
that my nostrils danced with your scent
my head now hurts
with the awful odor of dead men
and exhausting dust particles
that causes my brain to throb
replacing your broad shoulders
with a cheap ancient pilliow
causes my back muscles
to be tense and tight
I think I might throw away my bed
it smells nothing like you
therefore its nothing to me
anything without you is simply wrong
