His Hidden Secret

He caught my eye while another girl already had his.
While I thought I was the one making him happy, she sat behind closed doors putting the smile on his face.
While I thought he laid awake at night thinking about me, she was the one he couldn't get off his mind.
While we exchanged compliments I believed them, but really he was talking about her.
He taught me how to love myself while I also fell in love with him. He made me feel alive again when the whole time he was killing me.
