I met you about a year ago, when I thought all guys were the same

I thought I was onto you, one step ahead of you in your own game

But a big part of me was hoping I was wrong,

So I took a chnce and I just played along

I guess you can say I liked you, but all of a sudden you were gone

And for a second I actually thought you were different, but you failed to prove me wrong

But see, they say everthying happens for a reason

And everyone who crosses your path has a special meaning

So I shouldnt have been so quick to judge, maybe you had good intentions but I just couldnt see it

Now look at where we are

Looking back, I never thought we'd get this far

Sometimes I lay awake at night

At 3 a.m. when I cant sleep, and you cross my mind

I lay in bed, wide awake, wishing you were by my side

I love the way you make me feel, and its crazy cuz Ive been so scared to feel this way again

But I trust you, and life's about taking chances every now and then

Everytime I see you, you put a smile on my face

I wanna hold you, and never let you go, just dwell in your embrace

Your smile, your kiss, even your slightest touch

I love the feeling it gives me and I never wanna give you up

When all is said and done, Im happy with where we stand
