When I look outside the window
In the spring time
I hear the birds chirping
I hear the wind chimes
I smell the barbeques cooking
Hear the kids playing games
See the flowers blooming
And feel the first touch of the sunrays.

When I look outside the window
In the summer time
I hear the bees buzzing
I hear the trees begging for a climb
I smell the ocean’s salty scent
Hear the bonfires sizzling
See the stars up above
And feel the sky drizzling.

When I look outside the window
In the autumn months
I hear the squirrels crawl
I hear the leaves crunch
I smell the pumpkins baking
Hear the kids yell, “Trick-or-Treat”
See the bare tree branches
And feel the last of the heat.

When I look outside the window
In the winter sleep
I hear the snowplows running
I hear the hot cocoa steep
I smell the fireplaces burning
Hear the holiday parties
See the snow falling
And feel the New Year starting.

I was inspired by the beauty of nature throughout the seasons.
