You take every small step
With just seconds to prep
So try not to look back
When you hear the cliff crack
Go and wish for the best
And carry on your quest

Though the longer you climb
You spend even more time
To admire the peak
But as you become weak
Every step will exhaust
climbing at any cost

But you still hold small hope
It will be smooth down slope
If you can’t reach the top
All your spirits will drop
You climb till you can't climb no more
Then fall till you hit the rock floor

I decided to use an iambic meter, couplet rhyme and an allegory for life.
