Blue Car

The day after graduation,
excitement fills the air.
I roam in the outdoors,
the grass so green, the
sky so blue, a beautiful
spring day. I bonce over
to her, my smile with me.
Not knowing what's in store,
she gives me the keys.
I hesitate, a joke it could
be. No joke, I see; it's
all mine, mine to love,
mine to cherish. I turn
around, a blue, brand new,
sparkling car I see! It's
mine! Oh it's mine! Like
a kid outside a candy store,
I can't wait to see what's
inside. It's mine, the blue
car I see, it's mine!
