Identity Lost
The land is red and bare,
Everyone has vanished,
Disappeared in fear.
I stand, overlooking my land,
The sight of nothing.
Where once stood my people,
My family,
My home,
Me.
It is funny to remember how life used to be,
How it was.
Now it is overrun,
Overtaken,
Demolished.
It is not the same land as it was before,
It is not my home,
They are not my family.
This
Is
Not
Me.
