Madison
Words of any language will barely describe her,
but they will have to do, I concur.
A spring tornado in the world,
strong, quick, and tall.
You can forget what happened before,
but not now, inside the eye, the core.
Take a step and get blown away,
or try to fly till you see the light of day.
The only problem is that she’s the sun,
so there is nowhere to run.
Beautiful even if I should make a mistake,
looking back I could give up, for my sake.
Yet I can’t, until the problem is solved,
not until the solution is resolved.
Try as I may, I can’t run away,
but I can’t keep those thoughts at bay.
What could be of my life tomorrow,
if it could be free of my sorrow.
Like picking two gems,
both of which condemns.
One impossible to retrieve,
the other impossible to achieve.
To try is certain death,
to not is lacking in depth.
