Direct Me MAG
If I do recall there was a day where my mind teemed with fire
And sent stardust rushing through my blood
If I think back I can feel the closeness
of my fantasies
Written in the clouds and saturating the air
My eyes would relish in the gold that crawled from the sun
Thunderstorms would roll through my soul
And my legs would lift off the ground.
Oh but the days are long and many
And the thought of tomorrow injects my chest with anxiety
The promise of a dream seems so shallow
And I find it harder to place my hopes in light streaming in from the starry past
My bones feel hollow
Direct me to the paradise in my mind
Paint the hues that bleed from my soul
In the sky that watches over me.
