Guaranteed Fence
Guaranteed true but, unstable nonetheless
Nothing but a mere tribulation against the bonds of constrictions
Pelicans say "I can" but, guaranteed says YOU can not
Why does contradiction mark the bonds by which we are to be held?
If it be the contemporary law of land,
What say it for deceit?
If it be words for hope,
Whose cup be full, whose cup be barren?
And what factors tell of a cup's capacity?
Simplicity does mark my words but only to the ears of the senseless
Be nonsensical and your perception may be renewed

This article is an extended metaphor correlating the "fence" of laws to the rights of the people ("pelicans"). I was inspired to write this poem after spotting a school (their mascot was a pelican) enclosed by a wired fence (the brand was "Guaranteed Fence").
