scars
I have many scars,
Scars you cannot see,
Cannot touch,
Scars only I know about.
These scars arent what you normally think of,
Not made by a knife, tooth, or cut.
These scars are made from broken promises,
lies, and secrets.
Scars don't go away,
But they fade,
They fade so much you forget they are there.
My scars are still there,
But they are faded,
I forget about them,
They show up once and a while though,
only to be faded back to near invisibility.
My scars are faded,
Faded by friendship, laughter, and love.
My scars may not be gone,
But I dont care.
