Crevasses
Kids hold back because of fears
Afraid to face all their peers
Being different is not okay
Scared to come to school each day
As his books fall to the ground
He hopelessly looks around
Just for a friendly face
But even in this large place
All he feels is alone
He cuts so deep to see the bone
All he wanted was a friend
But now he wants the pain to end
To awaken from these constant nightmares
He hurrys home and up the stairs
He pours the cure in his palm
His body slows and starts to calm
Broken down and giving up
He's finally had enough
He lays down and shuts his eye
He feels the tears and begins to cry
He says his final goodbyes
And for the last time he shuts his eyes
