I Dream of Sleep
I want to see what colors you think in. I want to know what your voice sounds like at 2 in the morning. I want to discover the stars buried beneath the planes of your chest with my fingertips. I want to find all the wrinkles in your elbows and count all the creases in your knees. I want to twirl each individual piece of hair between my fingers and touch the hollows in each of your temples. I want to kiss between your fingers and tickle the space between your toes. I want to lay in bed and hear what your heart says to me before the sun rises.

Just a companion piece I wrote up to accompany a picture I thought was sweet.
