Four A.M.
Sleep has slipped
from my grasps
nothing new
than before
Perhaps If I just stopped
let my thought dwindle
I would find my soul
drifting to sleep
But there is too much
to learn and to be taught
how could I sleep
With such deep thoughts
Then again
perhaps i would be crazed
Sleep is mandatory
for the sanity of a soul.
Demons come out to play
when sleep does hide away
So I shall welcome sleep
To avoid an insane weep
