Boy FRIENDS with a capital FRIENDS
What do you see in me?
I am just an everyday weirdo,
I don’t want attention,
I want to be left alone,
not talked to,
not noticed.
I wish boys could just understand.
I just want to be friends.
One of my favorite quotes,
“He isn’t my boyfriend,
but I love his hugs, his smile,
his advice, his kindness,
and the times when we laugh together.
I guess I fell in love with our friendship.”
Story of my life.
I wish i could tell them this,
but boys don’t understand.
Too bad.
I have to try.
But I can’t.
Last time I did, I got a kiss instead of a goodbye,
or sorry.
Maybe it will be different.
Maybe they’ll finally understand.
I only want to be friends.
