Hopeless Love
I’m dying of hopelessness,
Crossing an endless sea of negativity,
There’s no point in moving forward
Until I see you,
A beacon of hope to my despair,
A beauty in which only one can stare
I wonder to myself what I could have possibly done to deserve you,
Why someone so perfectly imperfect exists on this earth
You’re so full of light
Illuminating this blackest night.
You make me cherish every moment near you
Even though you’re blind to my love
We aren’t meant to be;
For I’m a sailor doomed to the sea,
A sea cursed with eternal amity.
And you’re a goddess of the sea
Destined to keep exploring the endless sea of love without me.
