Admission Process
Peer pressure never the director of your future,
September, October, November, December adventures with terror,
Seller inventors like beggar story tellers to debtors,
Renters pretending, their beginnings and endings,
Are you moving? winning, or losing? Just cruising
with the flow to show what you already know
that you've grown,
in school mentally, physically, but I wish we can say we are all merry
or even ready to say our identity with false credibility
b/c truthfully some our grades were lazy recipe
With low life expectancy with these memories,
Liars, writers for readers only to give what you want to hear
in fear, that the end is near, but how do we compare?
In what we share do these admission officers even care
homies forgot their, there, and they're,
in their writings, signing with prayers on their chair
Wishing that we all become millionaires, do I dare
To share truth to light, all these demons we fight
to ignite the Chicago heights and say goodbye
to the past and blast a new cast perhaps a new forecast?
And get the hell away from this caste and surpass
the generations but i admit I'm confused on these directions
All I know is that I want a mansion just going through the motion
To apply to audition and for graduation
But these reflections need solutions and evolution,
going and staying is different, if our hearts could finally listen
and stop playing Madden all I know is I got ambitions,
But you know sometimes we forgot our noun,
Homies just trying to work downtown, but we are in a countdown
to become a clown, or crown,
Rebound around our backgrounds and finally have a life
of playground,
With no worries and finally tell our stories.
