Carmen
She walked in the room like a lightning strike
wearing her sadness like a medal
she had a pretty little smile
a laugh like god
and she looked best with a tear in her eye
she was surrounded by an aura of cheap purfume
when she stayed out all night long
she had a broken heart and a shattered family
but she could dazzle you with a happy song
She was carmon
the star child falling from the sky
she had too much at such a young age
she went from the back to the front page
and then she threw it all away
like she didnt even care
driving fast
down the highway
with the wind in her hair
she ended it with a bang
just like she always said she would
she made the front page
just like they never thought she would
and then she got
her last applause
