The Tropical Island

Can I stay on this island forever?
The blue waters flood towards me like a blue blanket.
I cringe when the cold water hits my toes.
And what’s that mountain over there?
The smell of the ocean is fresh and intriguing,
waiting for me to jump in.
But I think I’ll lay here for the rest of the day.
