Our Fantasy
the light that filtered through cool glass
an end of a serpentine tunnel
the silence in my long lost dreams
that echoed from the dark crevices
ever so lazy, but vigilant
bathing in the afternoon light
and the emerald pools reflected
something ravishing and grand
worlds away in a different mind
defending delightful diamonds in their vault
and slaying dragons with the charm
that had always struck me down
every second spent deep in thought
of my own fantasy there with you
and the tears that fall tear me apart
but your voice still echoes from the caverns
descend into a thirst for warmth
hope can only guide me
through misleading whispers
that only speak for Death
