Quick Epiphany
You see the girl with blood shot eyes and assume that she is high.
Did you ever think that maybe she stayed awake till 12 at night so her parents wouldn’t hear her cry.
She gives her friends a cold-shoulder before they can attack
She can’t pretend to be happy; her mind is black.
You see the girl with blood shot eyes but you don’t bother to ask if she’s okay.
The two of you make eye contact and quickly turn away.
You remember when those glowing eyes were accompanied by a smile.
You try to think of the last time you guys talked; its been while.
You see the girl with blood shot eyes and realize it is all your fault.
